Clean budget accommodation is available in the Hotel and also in the nearby Railway Quarters. Long term and group bookings are available.
The Dining Room is open for family friendly meals 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is available for Hotel guests or by arrangement. We also cater for group/corporate events.  Barista Coffee and a range of teas also available!  A General Store and Post Office are also located at the Hotel along with Visitor Information, Photo Gallery, Hairy Nosed Wombat Display and History Trail Booklets.  Situated on the Carnarvon Highway, between Mungindi and St George, Thallon was established in 1911, named after the former Railway Commissioner (JF Thallon).
